Description & Requirements

Responsibilities:
  • As a trusted Business Partner, work closely with the business units to formulate manpower plans and HR strategies in line with business needs;
  • Assist in the formulation of HR initiatives and plans, as well as HR policies, procedures and systems in support of business change / growth;
  • Provide advice to line managers in employee performance management and assist in the handling of related issues in a tactful manner;
  • Handle staff disciplinary cases and employee relations issues;
  • Produce statistical reports through analysing HR metrics and trends to enable early detection of manpower issues and contribute to employee retention;
  • Provide support for ad hoc projects as required.
Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or a related field;
  • At least 8 years’ relevant experience, preferably in construction / engineering industry, with at least 3 years’ experience in a supervisory / managerial capacity;
  • Well versed in labour legislation in Hong Kong;
  • Strong interpersonal skill, with a high level of sensitivity and the ability to interact with all levels of employees;
  • The ability to work with data and produce insightful reports / presentations;
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese;
  • Candidate with less experience will be considered for Senior Officer position.
