Description & Requirements

You will be responsible for the monitoring of payment of wages and discharge the following duties:-

  • Act as the one-point contact for the site workers on any enquiries in relation to employment matters;
  • Monitor payment of wages to assess whether they are made timely by all contractors;
  • Conduct briefing sessions to inform and educate the site workers the benefits of wage payment control measures;
  • Set up and maintain a record system on employment contracts, workers attendance, re-deployment, and wage payments;
  • Establish a simple and user-friendly complaint system, including the operation of a telephone hotline to receive enquiries from site staff;
  • Work closely with the Engineer’s Representatives on any attendance and wages issues.

Requirements

  • Level 2 or equivalent or above in 5 subjects in HKDSEE, including Chinese Language, English Language and Mathematics, or equivalent, or 5 subjects at grade E or above in the (HKCEE) or equivalent, including Chinese, English (Syllabus B) and Mathematics;
  • Post-secondary qualification in Human Resources or Personnel Management preferred;
  • Full-time experience on personnel management or human resources related functions;
  • Good computer knowledge including using MS Office Applications and Chinese word-processing;
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese;
  • Good knowledge and experience of the operations and practices of construction industry is preferred;
  • Well versed in Hong Kong Employment Ordinance & relevant labour legislation;
  • Candidates with relevant experience is preferred.
