Responsibilities:

• Assist the Project Manager in the daily execution of work
• Ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with the Project Quality & Safety Plan, contract requirements, including drawings and specifications
• Monitor, control and coordinate site works with the operations team as well as contractors
• Establish and implement controls to ensure that works are carried out safely according to the works programme and produce short term works plans
• Check construction drawings and highlight discrepancies
• Ensure that all corrective action or preventive action is implemented effectively and quality records are properly maintained
• Monitor and control progress to make sure that turnover and cost is in line with master construction program
• Ensure material submission & approval, ordering and delivery are according to agreed schedules
• Manage and control subcontractors for work progress and safety matters
• Coordinate with LTA and QPS as required

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline, recognized by Professional Engineers Board (PEB) Singapore
• At least 2 years’ relevant experience with good experience in infrastructure construction projects, particularly on LTA MRT projects
• A&A work experience within rail protection zone is preferred
• Excellent team player, good interpersonal skills and a “can-do” attitude
• Strong business acumen with strong analytical skills
• Strong communication, negotiation and planning skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced and dynamic environment
